Why on earth does #TMDB's #API registration require my full name, phone number, and physical address!?
I've been adding a lot of new stuff to my @jellyfin server at home lately, and I've found that I definitely prefer themoviedb.org over imdb.com.
I was just going through my TMDB profile, and saw that I'd skipped right over the social media part. I usually do because I'm not on any of the big sites.
Today, I noticed that TMDB has a Mastodon entry. 😁 I really hope to start seeing more of this.

Which one do you prefer: Letterboxd or TheMovieDB, and why?
Oh, cool. TheMovieDB added some cool new things to their ratings feature.
Along with the 10 star rating, you can also add the mood/how the movie made you feel, and there's also a dropdown for "tone" - like Absurd, Bitter, Bold, etc...
Is there an app to use with #TheMovieDB? One that supports rating? #TMDB
I'd like a movie/series tracker similar to #GoodReads. #Letterboxd doesn't support any series longer than one season. #TheMovieDB and #IMDB have a wider coverage, but still are limited in details I can add, such as comments, current status, source, quick review, etc - I've settled on a spreadsheet in #Google Drive for now.
I can understand boycotting contact that Russian businesses profit from in protest over the invasion of Ukraine, but preventing Russian citizens from using online commons like TheMovieDB seems petty and off-target.

Why did I think #TheMovieDB was under a #CC license or something similar? It isn't:
