"Magical children" shows never last. There have been a ton ... recently #ThePassage & even #Touch comes to mind. But @EmergenceABC
has something that elevates it ... @Allison_Tolman's utterly refreshing & authentic performance which firmly HOLDS and then SLAYS ME.

She is so REAL & normal that you could almost mistake it for BAD acting if you didn't know any better. It feels believable and true. It makes me genuinely CARE about the character, something that rarely happens for me w/ American TV.

I wish I could have livetweeted the season finale of #ThePassage tonight, but I was having some health issues! In any event, congrats to the cast and crew of a fantastic first season! I can't wait to see where the next season takes us.
