Por fin logré ver a The Pineapple Thief en vivo. Y valió la pena. Mas de 2 horas de rock progresivo de la mano de Bruce Soord y compañía. Donde destaca el baterista Gavin Harrinson, muy querido por el público chileno y así se lo hicieron notar durante todo el concierto.

I generally complain about how posting on Instagram (and Twitter in the past) feels like screaming into the void, because I usually don't get any interactions. That's one reason why I like it here a lot more.

But the fact that #ThePineappleThief's guitarist liked a few of my pictures from the show sure feels nice.

So, I have opinions on the #ThePineappleThief show!

First of, let me clarify. I don't really consider myself a fan of the band. Of the songs they played tonight, I knew two, one of which I actually know the name of. But I do consider them to be one of the best bands in that general #ProgRock sphere, and whenever I hear a song of theirs I think "hey, that's a pretty good song".

When it comes to them performing live, their music feels quiet and sophisticated, but the heavier passages and solos hit all that much harder because of it. And lets not forget here that they have #GavinHarrison on drums too, and it's always such a treat to see and hear him perform.
