Visste inte att basisten körde #Rickenbacker. Härligt! Hade en själv när det begav sig. Sälj aldrig instrument! 😀

@guettisknippse

"Back on My Feet Again" is a song by #TheBabys. It was released in 1979 as a single from their album #UnionJacks. The song is the band's final Top 40 hit, peaking at No. 33 on the Billboard Hot 100. The song was originally written for #TheSweet, who made a demo recording of it in 1979, under the name "Yesterday's Hero" and with other lyrics. However, it was never released because the band's bassplayer, Steve Priest hated it.

#nowplaying the new (and maybe final) Album #fullcircle from the band #thesweet .
Amazing Sound and cool #rock. Although only #andyscott is alive of the original Band members this Album is great and a perfect final release for such an iconic Band.

The album cover for *Full Circle* by The Sweet features a striking image of a vintage steam locomotive coming straight toward the viewer. The train has a rugged, metallic exterior with a weathered look, and its front prominently displays the album title, *Full Circle*, along with the band's name, *Sweet*, in bold, industrial-style lettering. The locomotive emits smoke from its chimney, adding a dynamic effect.

The headlights glow brightly, casting a warm light, while the front of the train integrates elements of a guitar, reinforcing the album’s rock music theme. The train’s identification plate reads "RAM946E," adding to its authenticity.

The background presents a dramatic landscape with a colorful sky transitioning from deep blues and purples to warm pink and orange hues, possibly depicting either sunrise or sunset. In the distance, snow-capped mountains and an old-fashioned yellow train carriage contribute to the scene’s depth and atmosphere. The railway tracks extend forward, symbolizing movement and continuity, fitting the "Full Circle" theme.

The overall aesthetic blends realism with a slightly surreal and artistic touch, making it a visually captivating album cover that reflects both the power of classic rock and a sense of journey or nostalgia.

"Love is like oxygen" - The Sweet

Well, that's a bit different! The Sweet put down their usual stompy glam sound, and go for yelped lyrics over a squealing guitar.

Nominated for song of the year at the prestigious Ivor Novello awards, but lost to Baker Street by Gerry Rafferty.

"Bang the Drum All Day" is a 1983 song from #ToddRundgren's 1982 album #TheEverPopularTorturedArtistEffect, released as a single in April 1983. The lyrics describe, in the #firstPerson, the narrator's drive to play drums or improvised percussion to the exclusion of other activities such as work or education. All the instruments on this track are performed by Rundgren. The song’s chorus has a melody similar to that of "#FoxOnTheRun" by #theSweet.
