Teenage Wei Wuxian and Lan Wangji are sprawled out across the ground, Lan Wangji on his back with Bichen clutched in his left hand where it is outstretched on the ground in the direction of the viewer and Wei Wuxian across him, stomach to stomach. Wei Wuxian is leaning on his left arm, which is across Lan Wangji's upper chest and bound to Lan Wangji's right arm with the sacred Lan forehead ribbon, while Suibian is in his right hand where it rests on the ground between Lan Wangji's torso and long sleeve. Wei Wuxian is looking in the direction of the viewer at an off screen target with his mouth open just enough that his upper teeth are visible while Lan Wangji has raised his head a few inches off the ground to glare at Wei Wuxian.

I went back to #tumblr recently to find a video, and I was reminded of how insightful it was for fandom. I say was, because most of my friends don't post there anymore, but we would dig and dig and dig at a fandom to get all the meat out.

You can't do that here on #mastodon and I don't know why it is so different. It probably has something to do with only allowing one image instead of those amazing Gif streams. Anyway, here is a tumblr GIF from #TheUntamed fandom to give you a taste.

On a forested path on moonlit night, Lan Yi finds her path blocked by Baoshan Sanren, who stands at least 6 feet in front her with sword drawn and extended with the point level with Lan Yi's neck. Lan Yi's own sword remains sheathed at her side, held in her left hand.

In a room in the Unclean Realm, Nie Mingjue sits, somewhat leaned forward with his body position indicating he is likely leaning on his left elbow, his right arm somewhat pulled back and positioned so that his right hand is resting palm down on perhaps a chair arm or nearby table. His expression gives the impression that he is mulling over some information.
