Part 2/2

I also managed to catch

1962s #TheManchurianCandidate I really enjoyed this and every time I catch Angela Lansbury in something that is not an old rerun of Murder She Wrote, I marvel at what a great actress she was.

1966s #TheGoodTheBadAndTheUgly
Still not a "western" fan but this was okay.

1974s #TheConversation FFCoppola film that is tight and suspenseful. Loved it. Gene Hackman was so good in this film.

Lastly, I am still trying to finish 1999s #TheMatrix. It is proving to be an albatross around my neck πŸ˜‰ But it will be finished!

Seeing as though The Matrix is still around and I am still waiting on a few titles to get into my library box, I will continue to work on the challenge.

Titles I am still waiting for

#TheHustler
#TheWagesOfFear
#TheIpcressFile
#CapeFear
#BladeRunner

Overall 2024 was a good movie year for me but from now on it will be an as and when task. Now on to another challenge....

I am currently listening to Les voyages by Jeanne Moreau from the album Jeanne Chante Jeanne see open.spotify.com/track/0ID6Hh3

Jeanne Moreau (1928-2017) was a French actress and singer who emerged as a prominent figure in the French New Wave cinema movement. Known for her distinctive husky voice and enigmatic on-screen presence, she often played complex, sometimes controversial characters that challenged traditional notions of femininity and beauty. Her film career spanned over six decades, with notable roles in films like "The Wages of Fear" (1953), "Jules and Jim" (1962), and "Carmen" (1984). In addition to her acting work, Moreau was also a accomplished singer, releasing several albums throughout her career.

#QuentinTarantino opines, in his recently published dictation transcriptions, a very enjoyable book, that #Sorcerer is a superior film to #TheWagesOfFear and I'm here to tell you that I had to turn Sorcerer off, so bloated with extraneous top dollar nonsense Wages did without for the better.
