So I wouldn't call this one finished, but I got some code laid out to create Girih tiles. It needs a bit of styling, and some fancier code to position the tiles so they're not just manually hard-coded. This is one I want to revisit later.

Small red/blue tile with bunbun, the rabbit on it. Bunbun is white, long wavy ears, running towards the right, and a slight smile on his face,

The tile is stuck to the outer edge of a tunnel (the "Daalsetunnel"), that can be seen in the lower two-third of the picture, with a grey concrete roof, and walls with white tiles on both sides, and two cyclists riding at the end of the tunnel, riding into the light at then end of the tunnel.

Small red tile with bunbun, the rabbit on it. Bunbun is white, long wavy ears, standing with arms and legs stretched out to the sides, and an unhappy face.

The tile is stuck to the a ledge within the same tunnel (the "Daalsetunnel") as the other tile. Also here the tunnnel can be seen in the lower two-third of the picture, with a grey concrete roof with parallel lines running parallel to the length of the tunnel, and walls with white tiles on both sides. This time several cyclists riding on the bike lane - left side - and pedestrians walking on the sidewalk - right side - can be seen going towards the end of the tunnel.

Hand-painted in Ann Arbor, Michigan, this polychrome tile is based on the work of modernist artist Charley Harper (1922-2007)
