As a fan of #TinyDeskConcerts I've noticed that the talent in a performance tends to be inversely related to the number of band members squeezed into the performance space.

And there are a lot of performances by huge groups that can barely fit in.

Tunde Adebimpe (born February 25, 1975) is an American musician, singer-songwriter, actor, director, and visual artist, best known as a founding member and co-lead vocalist of the Brooklyn-based band TV on the Radio, with whom he has recorded five studio albums. Das Tolle an den Tiny Desk Concerts ist die Wohnzimmer-Atmosphäre, in der professionelle Musiker unplugged die feinen Nuancen ihrer Kunst zeigen können. Im Video-Bestand von YouTube findet man sogar eine Tiny Desk Session von Taylor Swift. Die erspare ich euch hier aber - stattdessen empfehle ich die Jazz-Sängerin und -Posaunistin Rita Payés mit acht weiteren MusikerInnen, die im Oktober 2024 dieses schöne Beispiel eines Tiny Desk Concerts abgeliefert hat.
