So here's something the average citizen of the modern world may not be aware of: For many of the processes driving said modern world, we know of better - higher quality, more environmentally responsible, sometimes even cheaper - alternatives, and yet we keep on using the inferior processes instead of working towards the superior ones.

Can you guess why...?

I just learned how induction stoves work! I assumed that the magnets deformed the pan repeatedly, causing mechanical heating. Which, if you think about it even a little bit, it silly. Instead, the magnetic field causes a current to flow in the pan. Pans aren't great conductors so there's resistance and that generates the heat. #TodayIFoundOut #stoves #inductioncooktops

Then there’s the possibility of a female liger going through mixed feelings associated with her desire to be part of a pride and a sisterhood of lionesses, while at the same time exhibit desires of isolation typical of tigers and their intolerance towards constant company.

It me.
