Entry 81 in "nimi pi musi leko": pi. This one gets an asterisk because it's another particle without a clear translation. "pi" groups modifiers, like in the title of this series. Instead of being "artistic, square words", it's "words that are square art (pixel art)."

There are 29,768 pairings of the 122 widely-accepted #tokipona content words. Some can mean many things (e.g. "tomo tawa", room of movement), some will usually only mean a few closely related things (e.g. "pimeja walo", black of white), and many would only be parseable in a very specific context (e.g. "pipi esun", insect of trade)

So it's very exciting when something jumps from the 3rd category to the 2nd! And I think https://www.nature.com/articles/s41561-025-01838-6 may do that for "suwi mun", sweetness of space-object

i have three ideas
- a #tokipona-based language where types are kule, functions are ilo, variables are nimi, etc. the language would be smol, the game smol as well
- a language coded on punch-cards which are represented as sequences of fifteenel (https://drj11.itch.io/fifteenel-font) strips (say 30 of them), the language would have a built-in graphical memory that's a punch-card's worth of bits, it'd be displayed by printing out the fifteenel strips, the game would be a tetris or something like that
- a language that's a programmable celular automaton, the rules represented as a fifteenel punch-card (see idea above), and the display would be fifteenel strips, the game is to try to find a quine where the rules generate the rules

So now there's a Wikipedia in Toki Pona. It's a constructed language, comparable to #esperanto, but much more modern, and with a curious philosophy of having as few words as possible.
