Round 2 of feeling proud of small video game achievements: I finished all remaining achievos for Tomb Raider 1 Remastered on stream last night! ❤️

I'm really relieved I didn't miss any breakable tiles, I won't have to touch 'Pistols Only' anymore and I actually succeeded at Max%. 😊

Atlantis was a disaster though! 😂 Still no idea how I missed a single enemy *twice*.

Proud of these even though it took me a while to get them, since I mainly play Tomb Raider when I stream, and I haven't streamed much lately. ✨

Since I already need to extract the data files from the Tomb Raider PSX game that I have done with the help of jpsxdec and I noticed there's a play button next to the save button I just have to play some of the FMVs, I just wanted to see how well it can play it back and just because it's so cool that this feature is built in to this software. 🥰

Screenshot of a program called jpsxdec used for playing back the fmv files contained in the Tomb Raider 1 PSX game, this is the first one that plays during the beginning of the game. In the left column can be seen the list of files contained inside the game's image file and in the right column is the video output playing back the FMV file that's being highlighted in the left column. In the right column's video output Lara's face shown zoomed in only her forehead, eyebrows, rounded eyeglass and her nose can be seen.

Another screenshot of the same program, now playing back the second FMV file. In the video output again Lara can be seen without her sunglass, walking in a cave covering her eye sight with her left hand, looking towards the camera with her head and body slightly turn to the her right side.

Finally I have taken the time to try out the OpenLara port for the 3DS. 😍
I installed OpenLara to my 3DS and played around with the only supported Tomb Raider game from the Tomb Raider series the first Tomb Raider 1 from 1994. 😎
The only thing that's a bit off is that there's seems to be missing some of the audio more specifically I can't hear Lara's voice in the training area that's in her mention, but at least the subtitles are visible. 🙁

Next time I will try to compile the OpenLara 3ds homebrew port. I think if I remember serves right it supports stereoscopic 3d built in the 3DS. It would be really rad to play Tomb Raider 1 in stereo 3d.
