Today, after having a good snooze, I feel that my brain will pick the right OS for my Laptop. As I have read documentation of various operating systems, hemmed and hawed while relaxing!

Also figured out a combat situation in Digimon: Time Stranger that doesn't follow the established pattern of how boss battles go.

I can formulate a better strategy, with what scant tools I have at my disposal (locked in the area until the two boss battles are done, rude dev behavior). I'll figure it out or turn down the difficultly temporarily.

Woot, I let the openSUSE Tumbleweed installer rip without X11 initially it worked and allowed me to do the things that I needed.

However, that landed me in TTYL 1 upon first boot. After trying to start sddm or plasma.desktop (first verified it was installed). I was left scratching my head. Just decided to reinstall openSUSE Tumbleweed and try again without auto login to choose a Wayland session out the gate.

Went with all defaults that KDE Desktop requires (apparently X-11 is still needed, even though it's a really smelly package). 🫠

That's so ugly (seems to be true as sddm autostarted). A bit glitchy yet again.

Edit: installation of the new recommends after adding the correct repo solved my initial grumbles.

Chilling tonight, and advanced the story for Digimon: Time Stranger. Its not a bad game persay, but it does have a habit of repeating itself a bit too much.

I can't imagine playing the game in a distracted state of mind to require them to overemphasize their plot points; mobile phones are cool, but damn something needs to be done about the attention sucking features. If we want great storytelling to make a comeback.

I fixed some authenticator shenanigans, as I kinda was a goof and made Bitwarden my two factor authentication source.

So when I changed my password, the only way to log-in with new master password was to enter a one time recovery code.

I got KDE Connect to work, it paired right up with my openSUSE machine! Another victory, once my laundry is done...I'm going on a snack run because I love having tasty noms at my disposal.

Having rested my mind, I might dig a bit deeper into Python after my snack run because I am having a lot of fun learning about something new.

It's nice to challenge myself a bit. I can always play some games much later on before bed.
