Pas de panne connectique détectée. Pas de panne plateaux, ça ronronne. Le drame serait une tête de lecture qui serait en PLS mais j'y crois moyen dixit bruit d'alignements au boot. + un composant bas de gamme contrôleur qui fout le souk à mon avis :/ #Toshiba = daube, dans ma boycott list direct !

Ich gabe es mit #HP, #Asus, #Toshiba und #Lenovo probiert: bei keinem gab es nicht irgend ein Treiber, der entweder ganz fehlte oder nicht vollständig lief (z. B. nur 60 statt 144 Hz).

Server oder "Surf-Laptop", ok, aber ein Arbeitsrechner muss zu 99% funktionieren, und Windoof legt hier die Messlatte sehr niedrig.

👉 fancy persistent write cache / PWC
👉 longer warranty than their N300 (60 > 36 months), applicable to B2C (afaik in .de, i'm C)
👉 slightly better idle Watts than #Seagate

The only weakness is, that they're likely same age/batch, via same merchant, same order - if 1 ZFS member fails, i'll be very worried about the health of the other.

That's why i'll keep one of my 10TB HDDs, as the designated off-siter.

Zu Hilfe, #Toshiba- #Laptop-Nerds: Ich habe hier ein #SatellitePro L650 - 17P (glaube ich, siehe Bild) & das ist insofern cool, als dass es nicht nur ein Laufwerk hat (es wäre das einzige im Haus), sondern sogar Blurays kann! Nur ist die Bios-Batterie leer und ich finde die ums Verrecken nicht 🧐 Ok, ich komme auch nur an die Rückseite des Mainboards. Also: Wie komme ich an die MB-Vorderseite oder wo ist diese Batterie?
