Im having another look at alternatives to #trello and going to try #kanboard as its small and easy to host and has plugins. Itll be for my own work project management, so little to no collab. Im investigating various r/selfhosted threads for other options. Kanboard gets good feedback here and there.

Im investigating alternatives to #Trello for personal use, think lll try Kanboard. It suits my needs, is comfortingly minimal, nothing sexified. We need to re-think our software choices and use cases. Get rid of 'if billions of ppl dont use it, it must be crap' mindset.

@oceanhaiyang @tinker I use Gqueues but any task manger will do - or even put a recurring event in your calendar app.

I'm sure there is no shortage of people int he fediverse who will tell you their favorite task manager tools and processes - so no need to take my recommendation!

As #Trello slowly enshittifies itself... Anyone could propose some *simpler* alternatives?

All I want is a customizable "kanban" board with cards that I can move around. With some stuff I can add to a card: a description, a checklist, maybe some URL attached.

That's it! It would be nice to have native apps on macOS/iOS - but even macOS alone would suffice!

Je suis sous macOS et je cherche à pouvoir intégrer un lien vers un mail (#thunderbird) dans une carte #Trello. Le but étant depuis la carte de retrouver rapidement le mail en question pour le traiter.
J’ai essayé Copy messageId mais le lien en thunderbird:// ne s’ouvre pas sous macOS.
Des idées ?

I've been using Trello for years, and I always wondered if there was an easier way of adding labels to cards without actually going into them.

And there is... so, the thing is filled with shortcuts. So, tapping “l" when hovering over a card with pop up the label menu, and you can then click on the label you want to add to the card! 🤯

W swojej aplikacji Todoist mam projekt o nazwie "Trello", który zawsze jest pusty — za chwilę dowiesz się dlaczego.

Gdy naciskam skrót klawiszowy do dodawania zadań w Todoist, w tytule zadania mogę podać hashtaga #trello → spowoduje to dodanie zadania do wspomnianego projektu.

Ich experimentiere in letzter Zeit etwas mit @cryptpad herum, um mal zu schauen, was das so kann im Vergleich zu Google Docs & Co.

Und jetzt habe ich gerade durch Zufall gesehen, dass ich meine alten #Trello Boards einfach als JSON exportieren und in einem #Cryptpad #Kanban File importieren kann. :surprised_pikachu:

Das muss ich zwar einmal einzeln für jedes Board machen, und Details wie Due Dates werden auch nicht übernommen, aber who cares.
