Wow! I am running a #Tribe8 One shot with some friends these days using #tribesinthedark and even though I had some doubts about applying it to a travel plot, it works quite well. Players and me are learning quickly how to adapt.
The horror is still there even though up until an hour ago, the most monstrous were humans, not Z'bri.

Got cast out because she was late in returning from a celebration and all others had to wait so they lost a carriage in an attack.

@Sumire Oh, spannend! Ich bin gerade dabei zwei Runden #Tribe8, einmal OneShot, einmal FewShot, mit den aktuellen Playtest-Regeln vorzubereiten. Die nutzen da jetzt auch Forged in the Dark und es würde mich sehr interessieren wie ihr das bei einem One-Shot mit den Downtime Phasen handhabt. Macht ihr welche? Wie nutzt ihr sie?

@FranigoRolls leider keine Zeit für aktives #pnpde. Aber da für das große Spielwochenende über Ostern namens #ESW, #Tribe8 auf dem Plan steht, muss ich mich da wieder einlesen. Aktuell ringe ich noch mit der Entscheidung ob ich mit dem Silhouette System oder mit dem aktuellen Playtest-Regeln für die Neuauflage #TribesInTheDark ins Rennen gehe. Neues hat ja immer seinen Charme :rm_funny:

I'm skimming through _Children of Lilith_ for the #Tribe8 #TTRPG and I'm once again struck by how much, "stuff just happens to the PCs, this is how they react to it" there is. Of course it always occurs at points where the Next Plot Point can't happen unless that exact sequence of events happens.

Upscaled to 300 DPI and enhanced image of Joan from the #Tribe8 #TTRPG. This stuff looks good. We've got a selling point for when we launch crowdfunding: "Upscaled and remastered art from the original game!" ❤️‍🔥

@rivetgeek I remember the maps being such an evocative part of #Tribe8 back in the day. Update looks pretty slick.

Wednesday game: Well, they did great tonight! Lilith is born, and they are pledged to her.

Fighting monstrosities, meeting Fatimas, hitting each other with sticks. How do they always fall back on that?

My favorite part? When the new Fatima (little g god) showed up in their dreams and asked them to pledge to her cause only 2 of 6 of them even asked what it is! This is gonna be fun!

But seriously, they've gelled. It was a good night.

Well, I did it. I took the Silhouette core character sheet on GitHub and figured out how to edit it. I turned it into a 1st Edition Tribe 8 character sheet for Roll20!

Yes, it's a 25-year-old game. We're still gonna play it.

@Phybe kennst du #Tribe8 ? Da waren die Bücher immer aufgeteilt in einen Teil der als Ingame-Text den Inhalt wiedergegeben hat. Sehr stimmungsvoll, tolles Artwork. Und dann kann der Regelteil. Der Ingame-Text war dabei immer deutlich umfangreicher. Es gab daran häufig die Kritik, dass der Regelteil oftmals nicht alle Fakten beinhaltete und SLs wie Spieler sich ihren eigenen Reim darauf machen mussten.
Die Bücher waren dadurch aber schon für sich lesenswert.
