« Sinon, réflexion de privilégié qui trouve moyen de se plaindre alors qu’il réalise ses rêves, on galère de plus en plus pour refaire du GPL. Le nord de la Suède ne propose que trois stations entre Sundsvall et le Sápmi (Laponie) norvégien. Et je viens de percuter qu’il n’y a pas de GPL en Finlande. Notre autonomie est d’une semaine par zéro dehors. À –10°C, on tient trois jours. Et on va se manger entre –20 et –30. Entre Piteå, où se trouve la dernière station GPL en Suède, et l’Estonie, comptez 1 000 km via la Finlande. On devrait donc parcourir 200 km quotidiens, ce qui revient à dire : « Visite la Finlande depuis l’habitacle de ton véhicule, ami touriste ».

« Bon, ben… on découvrira la péninsule svensk-norske dans l’autre sens au lieu de boucler à l’est par Saint-Pétersbourg, l’Estonie, la Pologne, etc. Ou alors faudrait descendre à chaque étape dans des campoches (campings de poche) finlandais mais ça nous flinguerait le budget. Dommage parce que j’adore la Finlande à travers les yeux d’Arto Paasilinna.

« Pas visité la célèbre église en pierre de Røros. D’ailleurs, visité aucune église depuis le début. Ni aucun château ou monument à la gloire d’un saint ou monarque quelconque. En revanche, hommage a été rendu aux ouvriers de la célèbre mine de cuivre (kobberverk) qui ont sacrifié leur vie depuis le XVIIe siècle pendant 333 ans pour donner du faste aux palais, aux églises et aux demeures bourgeoises. Ça m’a semblé avoir du sens. »
