#followerpower I do have an Intel 14900HX CPU running #linux with #kde (#tuxedoos), so far, so good.

But it is only running on 2.2GHz, it is able to run at 5.8GHz but it does not use this option.

Is there anything I have to activate, to install, to do so that my CPU is using it's full potential?

ALSO if im not mistaken #TuxedoOS uses KDE Neon as an upstream? #KDE

After suspend/resume, GUI would freeze - mouse cursor worked but clicks didn't. Caused by
KWin failing to inhibit sleep due to missing D-Bus permissions.
Fix: Add this D-Bus policy:
/etc/dbus-1/system.d/99-kwin-seat-inhibit.conf
Allow org.freedesktop.login1.Seat Inhibit method.
Affects: KDE 6.x + Wayland + Intel/NVIDIA hybrid graphics

Great, now the #KDE #PlasmaShell crashes after unlocking the screen. Need to restart it with: kstart -- plasmashell --replace
That last #TuxedoOS update was really not good.

I added DisplayServer=x11 under [General] in /etc/sddm.conf.d/kde_settings.conf. It didn't do anything. They're just forcing alpha software Wayland on me now!

How do I choose to use #X11 on #TuxedoOS? People say you can choose on the login screen, but that's a lie. #Linux

The current #TuxedoOS update broke a lot! It reset a lot of my #KDE configurations, changed the UI scaling around, doubled the size of the cursor, has sometimes graphical glitches when resizing a window and more importantly it now opens a popup that requests a password when you do ssh-add!? What is that? I already entered the encryption password on the shell. How do I get rid of that!? #ssh #Linux #sshagent #sshadd

Ich wollte das Upgrade mit dem mitgelieferten Script auf #Ubuntu 24.4 machen. Nach dem Reboot startete der PC in #WebFAI. Die Autorepair-Funktion fragt nach dem #LUKS-Passwort, behauptet aber, das sei falsch...

It is working well for me (#tuxedoos 3).

So, auf meinem schnuckeligen 14" 4K #Matebook von 2020 (glaub ich...) läuft jetzt auch ein verschlüsseltes #tuxedoos - bis auf den Fingerabdrucksensor im Powerbutton funzte alles auf Anhieb - keine Ahnung, ob ich mir die Mühe mache, da nachzuhaken, nicht-biometrische Anmeldung ziehe ich eh vor.
Feeling wie auf meinem großen @tuxedocomputers Läppi. Def. meine Go To Distri. :blobcatcoffee:

Ich versuche einen SMB Share via fstab unter #tuxedoos einzubinden. Das Laufwerk ist bereits unter Remote zu erreichen und ich kann auch damit arbeiten, aber in KeepassXC kann ich nur über das direkte Öffnen der Datei darauf zugreifen, aber nicht über "open Database" da dort die Remote Option nicht erscheint.
Also wollte ich das mittels fstab Eintrag lösen

Just a reminder to why corporate GNU/Linux distros are a bad idea. This is an older video by @jay that I still think is very relevant. We should always support FOSS, especially community made distros. Corporate decisions, like Red Hat's shift with CentOS Stream, often demonstrate how business priorities can compromise open-source principles and community autonomy. That is why I won't use Ubuntu, Fedora, Pop_OS!, Tuxedo OS, or any other corporate backed distro. Now, Intel is just ending Clear Linux OS, further highlighting this vulnerability.
