When am I getting paid? Net 15 Payout FAQ Twitch creators are paid on or around the 15th of each month if: They made over $100 since last month. There has been more than $100 earned since your last payout. Their status is Payable, and there is no problem with their payment method For example, revenue earned during the month of April that exceeds the minimum threshold of $100 USD would begin processing around May 15th. If you did not meet the threshold, your payments roll over time. The end of the month checks continue and count the revenue you earned in prior months towards that $100 threshold.Payout Timing & Fees Due to our NET-15 payout period, most payments occur in the middle of the month. At the end of each month, there is a global check to see if your accrued revenue exceeds $100 USD. If so, your payment is scheduled for the middle of the following month. You can visit your Payout History screen, and see when the next check for revenue is going to happen. You can use this information to know when to plan for your payout. Once you exceed the threshold, that information will appear there. Time of Month Action Taken Where to verify End of Month (30th most cases) A check to see if your balance exceeds $100 USD. Twitch will soon launch a new Content Classification Label for "Politics and Sensitive Social Issues." Creators who create this content must label their streams. Viewers can hide this content. Advertisers can opt out of ads running on this type of content. #TwitchNews #TOSgg

New: Politics and Sensitive Social Issues CCL We launched Content Classification Labels (CCLs) last year to give you more control over the communities you build and to give viewers more control over the content they watch. Today, we’re introducing a new CCL to label streams that include discussions or debates about politics or sensitive social issues so that viewers can decide if they want to engage with this content. This type of label is common across the industry, and can also help advertisers better align their ads with content that reflects their brand values. At Twitch we have been so excited about the DJ Program and seeing all of the new communities that have been formed and that are thriving because of it on our service. As we continue to grow and improve the program, we wanted to highlight some information about the potential risks of playing newly released music that you may find on platforms that allow users to directly upload or post content, like YouTube, TikTok, Soundcloud, etc. We understand that DJs use music from a variety of different sources, and we built the DJ Program to support this. That’s why we want to highlight that there are instances where tracks are available on those services before they are officially released. Many of our streamers play tracks directly from YouTube, and these are not always immediately available in the DJ Music Catalog, especially in the 24-48 hour window prior to official release. Twitch issued a statement on why Israel and Palestine had been prevented from using email to sign up for the service. TLDR: To prevent footage from October 7, 2023, appearing on-site, they temporarily disabled email signups and forgot to turn it back on. #TwitchNews #TOSgg

When signing up for a Twitch account, you can select an account verification method – email or phone – for added protection. Following the October 7, 2023 attacks, we temporarily disabled sign ups with email verification in Israel and Palestine. We did this to prevent uploads of graphic material related to the attack and to protect the safety of users. Signups were not disabled, and we continued to see sign ups from both regions. Users could choose to sign up with phone verification. We’ve learned that, inadvertently, we did not re-enable email verification sign ups for either region. We deeply regret this unacceptable miss, and the confusion it has caused. We’ve fixed the issue, meaning all affected users can sign up with email verification.
