What a relief! I finally convinced my higher-ups to stop advertising on that dead-bird/Xitter site, so now I won't even have to provide "views" or whatever for their metrics while I check through our numbers anymore.
I am finally 100% #Elno-free in my personal AND professional life.

Each time I need to go get information on Twitter, I realise how much the Fedi is much saner. Twitter swarms with fascists. I don't know how people still on Twitter can support it, they are attacked on each of their tweets.

I'm still on Twitter to catch on news on the Russian invasion of Ukraine and interact with some friends in a fantasy golf league. My main activity has been blocking Ads, at least a dozen or two per day.

Got my account limited for 12 hours cause I responded this on a tweet about Mitch McConnell's latest freeze up
I said "I worry we're gonna watch him die on screen. He'll be up there speaking and keel over of a massive stroke"
That's against the rules, being worried about a human, even as evil as he is, worried about watching him die on live TV.
