Disappointing that none of the news programmes have explained how the “comparable outcomes” exam grading works. Exams in the UK are a sorting hat not a rating against an absolute standard. It's so disappointing to see this line in the report:
"This research did not include candidates who required reasonable adjustments. Therefore, potential issues that relate to how such adjustments would interact with RI processes and systems cannot be discussed in depth within this report."

@ThisMonkeyTypes Lots of education people, most of those I'm following here so far are HE, however, I'm thinking that if there was an appropriate "home" for other sectors, together or not, it would help.
