I started digging into the data expecting a small technical footnote.

I just had the misfortune of hearing Matt Forde's Focus Group on #bbc Radio 4 whilst washing up.
A lot of right-wing comedy rightly gets a lot of stick for punching down, but centrist comedy is just as bad, smugly dismissing anything outside of "sensible", favouring technocracy over inspiration.
Matt Forde epitomises this sort of comedy perfectly. He whined about how he was "politicially homeless" during the Corbyn years, so presumably is ecstatic about his man Starmer being PM.
