A 64yo Seattle woman was recently detained at SeaTac airport after returning from a trip to visit family in the Philipines.

Lewelyn Dixon has lived in the US for 50 years, is a green card holder and works at UW Medicine. She's been detained at ICE's notorious prison, the NW Detention center.

It appears the official Covid19 policy of Valley Medical Center and UW Medicine now is to pretend it does not exist anymore.

Not a single person at my clinic appointment today was wearing a mask, no one offered to wear one as I was, and I was directed to a retail pharmacy (public, understaffed, not a medical facility) to get a Covid19 shot.

As I entered the clinic, none of the staff I saw had masks on. As soon as they saw me with a mask, they put theirs on.

I mean, come on. Instead of listing all these symptoms, why not just freakin' require masks all the time? You're a medical institution.
