Marketing fatto bene, l'oggetto in sé è esteticamente davvero bello secondo me. Sicuramente non tutti saranno d'accordo con la semplificazione di alcune delle complessità intrinseche nell'avere un serverino casalingo, ma al contempo a mio parere QUESTO è un oggetto in grado di far fare i primi passi nel mondo del selfhosting a quegli amici che "vorrebbero ma non possono".

Nennt mich "Hacker of the Universe"! :-) Gerade umbrelOS 1.4 auf meinem Raspberry Pi 4 installiert - war auch in zwei Minuten erledigt und lief. Soll in der neuen Version eine eigene "Files"-Variante erhalten haben. Funkt auch, aber nur mit umbrelHOME (= kleines NAS) ist die Nutzung externer Datenträger möglich.
Kriegt man aber wohl auch so hin - probiere ich jetzt mal gründlicher aus.
Est-ce que par hasard quelqu'un utilise #Umbrel ( https://umbrel.com ) ? Est-ce que l'OS sait gérer une IP dynamique ? 🤔
Nachdem mein #SelfHosting Raspi sich verschluckt hat, will ich ihn ganz neu aufsetzen. Jetzt stehe ich vor der schweren Entscheidung: Wie bisher selbst #Docker Container aufsetzen oder #Yunohost , #Umbrel oder ähnliches ausprobieren?
Mit Docker auf RaspiOS lief es eigentlich in Ordnung, aber war schon etwas Fummelei, bei den anderen Systemen habe ich Sorge vor Abhängigkeiten... Ich bräuchte nicht viel: Samba-Netzlaufwerk, #jellyfin , #immich, #PiHole . Jemand einen Rat?
I’m finally getting the RPi5 up and running and I think I have made a last minute switch from CasaOS to Umbrel mostly because Umbrel seems to have a lot more apps available ootb. Despite both being able to accept custom apps, I’m looking for simplicity.
Also bei der Installation von #Yunohost hatte ich keinerlei Probleme. Ja: Es muss aktuell Debian 11 als Grundlage installiert sein. Aber das steht auch in der Doku #rtfm 😉

Ich kann von diesem merkwürdigen Image einfach nicht booten und eine andere Alternative gibt es offenbar nicht.

@ElPamplina no te arrependirás. Yo tengo una #RaspeberryPi 4 con #Umbrel instalado como servidor y en él tengo corriendo #Nextcloud hace tiempo, pero recientemente me instalé #Immich y estoy encantado, me parece un software excelente para gestionar mis fotos, lo malo el proceso de migración de mis fotos de nextcloud a immich. Pero si las tienes en google photos, creo que hay un script para importarlas todas automaticamente. Suerte en la aventura.
