My mum is 90 this year and she would really like a University scarf to replace the one she's lost.
She studied medicine at Uni. of Manchester in the 1950s. Seems she was a real trail blazer, one of only 2 women in the year. And they wouldn't confirm her place until they were happy they had enough players for their rugby team!

UoM Rent Strike says its demands for this academic year are:
A reduction of all… rents by a third.
A commitment from UoM that all new accommodation built as part of the #FallowfieldRedevelopment will be affordable (under 50% of the maximum English maintenance loan).
Students receive full rent refunds for every day which maintenance issues are not fixed.
