Selenaia by Irish artist FIN DAC @findac at 5 Hannah Street, Whangārei 0110, New Zealand in January 2019 for Street Prints Manaia, International Art Festival @street_prints. Photos taken February 2025. Thanks to @streetartcities app for leading me to Whangārei.

"‘Selenaia’ was my take on the #streetprintsmanaia theme ‘weaving the threads of humanity’. A split image highlighting the dual ethnicity of model Selena Bellingham. Her clothing and adornments reflect both her Maori and Filipino heritage as well as the attributes associated with them." @findac Jan. 31, 2019
⠀⠀⠀
"I didn’t have an artistic background. My life and how it had gone wrong was what drove me to be an artist but it never influenced the content of my work.... I leave it up to the viewer to get whatever they want from my work by deliberately being ambiguous about its content."

"The artwork you're most proud of? Not specifically an artwork, but actually just being an artist. Because I started very late in life and just becoming an artist was an achievement in itself. (He was 41 when he did his first wall.)

Precision meets emotion
@giuliovesprini merging structure and soul, where geometry hits the streets.
Clean lines, balanced forms, and color fields that turn architecture into poetry.
A defining voice in the urban landscape, shaping space through design, discipline, and pure vision.

Creativity meets precision
@bcolors_bcn blending digital flow with street soul, from Lisbon to the scene.
Bold pasteups, slick stickers, and animal portraits that hit with emotion and edge.
A true hybrid artist, pushing boundaries between walls and pixels.

Espinho

The wind came straight from the Atlantic - crisp, insistent, filled with the taste of salt and distance. The dunes stretched out like pale, sleeping animals, and the town behind them seemed to wait for something that wouldn’t quite begin yet.

We walked in silence for a while, past shuttered cafés and empty terraces. The sea spoke louder than we did. Its rhythm was constant, indifferent, but somehow comforting - like a reminder that everything moves on, even when nothing seems to.

In Espinho, the season hadn't started. A few locals lingered near the boardwalk, not doing much of anything. The sun had that washed-out quality of early spring - soft but merciless in its honesty.

And then there was this antenna tower, standing awkwardly above the tiled rooftops. Red, white, skeletal - built for connection, now rising over a place half-asleep. Below, a sign: For rent.

It felt almost symbolic. A message without a sender, waiting for someone to listen…

Slightly underexposed, maybe, but the shadows tell a story. You can't make a banger all the time. Which one do you prefer. The one with white och black border? ☕

There’s a quiet poetry in the alleyways of Huinnyeoul Cultural Village, and this image captures one of those moments where time seems to pause. Nestled in the heart of Busan, South Korea, this narrow path winds upward between tightly packed homes, each wall painted with character and history. Shot through a yellow filter, the warm tones bring out the nostalgic charm of the scene, casting a golden hue over the bricks, wires, and faded colours that define this vibrant neighbourhood. 🌇

I took this photo while exploring Huinnyeoul, a place where art and everyday life blend seamlessly. The textures here are rich, from the weathered red bricks to the turquoise and beige facades, and the small potted tree tucked along the edge adds a touch of nature to the urban rhythm. The alley leads to a taller building under renovation, hinting at the ever-changing layers of the city. It’s a space that feels lived in, loved, and quietly cinematic. 🎞️

This image is part of my ongoing journey into landscape and cityscape photography, where I seek out places that tell stories through architecture, light, and atmosphere. Huinnyeoul is a treasure for photographers, with its maze-like streets, coastal views, and artistic spirit. If you want to see more from this day, I filmed a vlog video while I was here, capturing the sights, sounds, and soul of the village. The link to this YouTube video is in my bio 🎥

Photography for me is about finding beauty in the overlooked, and this alleyway is a perfect example. It’s not grand or flashy, but it holds a quiet strength, a sense of place that resonates deeply. The yellow filter added warmth not just to the colours, but to the emotion of the scene, making it feel timeless and intimate.
