One of those special moments, a couple of weeks ago, I was just starting my daily exercise routines, this time around in a nearby park, and while doing some brisk walking, all of a sudden, I bumped into this beauty: a stunning flamboyant with an exuberant of bloom in intense red colours that I just couldn't help stopping on my tracks and capture the moment. Simply spectacular the feast for the eyesight and the soul. Mother nature always knows how to impress us even in the most of unexpected places 👌🏻😍

Last Sunday I had the chance of visiting the Peace Park (Parque de la Paz) in the south of the island and was warmly greeted by this gentle mini-giant, an Indian Laurel (Chinese Banyan)?, that has been trimmed just recently, apparently. First thing I thought ... "Damn! I just missed Edward Scissorhands in town! 😳"

I had a blast walking through the park, alone by myself, admiring tons of different trees and plants with plenty of blooming going on at the moment, so may share the odd snap shot here and there as well.

I found this Indian Laurel particularly soothing to look at 😍👍🏻

Gran Canaria, Playa del Inglés, one of my favourite views of Maspalomas sand dunes with Playa del Ingles in the foreground. A gorgeous spring day of blue skies all around with the odd cloud here and there, a bunch of bungalows (Santa Ana) with the parking lot close enough to access the golden sand beach, surrounded all by a bunch of palm trees and flamboyant trees. A feast for the eyes all the way to the back where the ocean waves hit the sand 😍👍🏻

This #avenue is the #Herrenkrugstraße in #Magdeburg, which crosses the lovely #Elbauenpark (I took this photo on the pedestrian bridge that connects both sides of the park). If you go right at the end of this #road, you'll end up in my village 5 mins later 😉

Gran Canaria, Puerto de Mogán, a.k.a. Little Venice, is one of my favourite spots in the southwest of the island to wander around, marvelling at the colourful bougainvillaea trees in full bloom in the middle of the streets as they connect different houses with their branches. Gotta love the peace and quiet as well, although it's usually buzzing with tourists. This time around I managed to capture this snap shot with empty streets in the summer. Rare, but pure bliss. The invisible people (not ghosts)
I've been listening quite a lot to a Swedish artist called Thåström and in one of his songs he sings about the neighbours you hear but never see.

They exist outside of your appartment or hotelroom, you hear them but you never see them. Somehow that's kind of a reflection of society today where we hardly look up and say hey to people we meet in the streets.

Those are the living invisible people around us.

A part of my photographic project called Nothing special has happened.
