He planned to send a screenshot to airline safety officers so they could investigate fast. After landing at a transit airport, he checked his comment section again. There he met insults from users who felt his questions were an attack.

The spokesman said he often answers those same social media users day and night. He added that asking clear questions about public behaviour is part of his work. For now, he said, he would ignore the abuse and focus on facts.

Achimugu stressed that there is no tolerance for rage or shouting on aircraft. He noted that both men often preach calm behaviour to their many followers online.
