#VikingLink - Die #HGÜ Leitung zwischen England und Dänemark ist im Probebetrieb (0,8 GW von 1,4 GW). Sauberer Windstrom kann nun zwischen England und dem europäischen Festland bidirektional ausgetauscht werden. Das erhört die Koppelleistung und mit einer Länge von fast 760 km überbrückt einen Strecke, in der die Korrelations zwischen den Windgebieten Richtung null geht. #Energiewenden #Interconnector

De 765 km lange HVDC-verbinding van 1.4 GW tussen Groot-Brittannië en Denemarken (#VikingLink) is zo goed als klaar. Deze zesde internationale connectie van National Grid (UK) brengt hun totale connectiecapaciteit op 7.8 GW.

De vijf andere verbindingen zijn: #IFA en #IFA2 met Frankrijk, #BritNed met Nederland, #NemoLink met België en #NorthSeaLink met Noorwegen.
