Brooklyn Bridges, as seen from the piers, 1996. Checking on Google Maps, I learned that not much has since changed in this view, apart from new developments on the Brooklyn side. Our tour group stayed in Manhattan the 4-5 days we were there.

More from roll of Kodak Tmax taken in May 1996, probably with a Pentax K1000 and printed in fall 1996. Original negatives are long gone, and I have no idea who took this photo. I do remember the hot pink sunglasses, though.

More prints from a roll of Kodak Tmax 400, probably taken in May 1996 on my first Pentax K1000 camera. Roll was printed as contact sheets, probably in fall 1996 while working on my first-semester college photo project.

Normally, I have tried to keep my archive posts anonymous with very few faces (apart from my own). In this case, I'm not sure how recognizable the subjects are, given the size and quality of the prints. Clear enough that you get a taste of prototypical 1990s alternative style.

1-4 are light/dark versions of frames, flipped and cropped. 5-7 are how the contact prints appear in my sketchbook. Auto-tone in Photoshop and some minimal spot correction.
