Hey, #Vivint, please put more effort into training your support reps. A fourth technician _swore_ to me there was no fan inside the panel, so we started a video call and I showed it to him. I shouldn't know the equipment better than your people. I just need a replacement fan!

Somewhat amusingly, but also sadly, two different #Vivint support techs swore to me that this alarm panel has no fan inside it. But the whine I heard from it is the same pitch as an electronics fan with dry bearings, so I opened the panel and... voilà, a fan that needs attention.

I'm highly impressed with Homebridge. In about an hour, I was able to get it installed on my Le Potato, add all of my non-HomeKit Kasa and Vivint devices to the Apple Home app, and get some automations set up.

Might be worth a quick blog post, but it was honestly so easy that I'm not sure there's much to say!

I guess let's see how I feel after using it for a few days...
