I saw this female black redstart in my garden and I knew I had to photograph it, so I quickly grabbed my camera and shot a huge burst to get this awesome shot.

Taken on my Canon EOS R7 using a Sigma 150-600mm f/5-6.3. Edited in Lightroom.

as I walked up the street after dumping the rubbish, a swallow performed acrobatics around me, whizzing so close I felt the wind of the wings, the flapping and once the right wing touched my left ear.... ooooh!

Which reminds me of a similar happening some years back when, on returning from feeding crows in the park, one followed me and flew so close I felt the wind of the wigs.. .
