The Zeiss lens w the adapter makes it super long (these are w my smart phone camera), so it was a fun challenge to set up shots. My new Canon EOS EF mount 35mm camera has shutter priority, so I was working the exposure best I could.

Purple iris in my NYC community gardens.

Just like weekends restore balance and give us time to tidy up, rest, and plan, data stewards bring structure and sustainability to the data ecosystem. Good morning tooting friends. It was feeling rather frosty when I got up at 6am with a temp of 2c but a feels like 0c. It’s currently 9c & the sun is shining, another clear day, no cloud, blue sky & rising to a max of 22c.
I have two loads of washing on the line today, so really hoping for no smoke issues from my neighbour. I rewashed my sheets & towels yesterday & they’re practically dry on clothes horses now in the garden just for that bit of sun to finish them off.
Had my favourite breakfast of a cheese & chilli omelette 🍳 along with my coffee ☕️ of course. I’ve also fed my sourdough starter but it could take a while to grow due to the colder air. I’m not in any hurry though.
Going to head out in an hour to watch my granddaughter, Miss 7 play hockey 🏑, she’s quite good apparently.
