This is what skipping one jab and eating out every single day for the last week does to you 😅

Obesity really is a chronic illness, it’s like an addiction I think and has to be managed as one.

I was under no illusion that this wasn’t the case, but it’s still quite an eye-opener seeing it so starkly like this.

Went for the last Mounjaro jab from the 2.5mg pen and... it's still weird. But seems like it's working as I want (targeting fat mass instead of muscular mass), so I guess I'll take it up a notch and move to the next dosage

We’ve been away in a cabin holiday for the week and I’ve learned two vital lessons:

1\ I didn’t take my #mounjaro jab as usual on Saturday as the dose gives me a funny tummy for a few days and I didn’t want to ruin the break. And today I’ve been snacking and grazing and buying shit I don’t need and this serves as an excellent lesson that I gotta stay on the jab if I wanted to maintain the #weightloss 😅

2\ I intentionally didn’t bring any #crochet or #knitting so I’ve been reading loads (and playing lots of Switch 2) but I find my mind wandering into dark places and thoughts I haven’t had for ages, in fact it’s because my #mentalhealth was rubbish that I restarted knitting after a 10 year hiatus. And again this has served as a reminder just how therapeutic it is to pick up some needles or a hook and get making stuff. It doesn’t matter if the end result is good or not, it’s the process that’s the healer in my opinion 😊

There does not appear to be an obvious difference between the outcomes of intermittent fasting and other forms of calorie restriction diets. Day 4 of the new routine.

I know I would do better the get more than thirty minutes on the treadmill. Currently I am not getting to Weatherford near soon enough to do so. Need to try and get out of bed closer to 4am instead of laying there.

The top screws in my right leg nearest my knee started hurting during my twenty squats. Maybe one day I won't hurt like that anymore. Probably not though.

Just trying to kill the belly fat.

I fast every night. Like from about two hours before I go to bed until I get up in the morning. Even then, other than coffee, I typically don't eat for two or three hours. That adds up to 12-hours most nights. I don't think of it as fasting, but that's what it is. Good thing I'm not trying to lose weight, however, because this nor any other type of fasting (despite possible benefits for certain conditions) doesn't live up to the hype for weight loss. medium.com/wise-well/intermitt #diet #weightloss
