Andy recently played an old favorite, Klunker by Uwe Rosenberg & Hans im Gluck. It's a game of stashing away the right jewels before others snatch them away. We call this one Schaufenster instead because of the display windows. What have you been playing? #WhatDidYouPlayMondays

What we've been playing: written above Klunker and a photo of the Klunker game box with cards set out on a wooden table and a hand holding a card then What Did You Play Mondays and Tell us what you played this past week! written below

Jess & her kids played Hot Streak from CMYK Games at game night this week. You bet on which mascot will win with side bets on a random thing that may or may not happen. Will your mascot cross the finish line or be disqualified? It's hilarious fun. What have you been playing? #WhatDidYouPlayMondays

Do you ever play the game of "What game should we play?" What are your tricks for picking what to bring to the table next? And let us know what you've been playing please! Maybe it will help us pick. #WhatDidYouPlayMondays

Kristin did some jigsaw puzzling with her Mom & Aunt Claire. This one was a custom made memorable photo puzzle that led to another great memory as they put it together. When you do a jigsaw puzzle, do you start with the edges or the main part of the image? #WhatDidYouPlayMondays

Jigsaw Puzzle written above a photo of Kristin in a tie dye shirt and bandane next to her mom and Aunt Clare at a wooden table with a complete puzzle image of 4 people and the image on the puzzle box with an inset photo of Kristin and Andy's faces pieced together and 5 colorful pawns and two white dice below next to What Did You Play Mondays with a blue to purple ombre background with light shadows of dice and pawn shapes

Yesterday was #gameday! I didn't get many pictures, but that's OK. I haven't posted about this stuff much lately, and I'm trying to get back in the habit. So, there'll be some hiccups till I get going again. Also, my therapist told me to be nicer to myself. I'm trying not to beat myself up too badly for forgetting.

We started the day out with #Betrayal. Always a good time. There was a ghost. J. did his best, but violence solved all problems for us.

I finally got to play #Ra. It's a game I've known about since I started playing modern board games all those years ago. It was a blast! I need that super fancy edition our friend brought.

The we played some #Tacta. Fun little domino-like card game.

After a break, we played #Guillotine. It's a favorite with this group. Always good for a laugh or two. And it's a pretty solid little card game.

We finished the night off with #Babylon. This was a tricky one. Thinking in 3d was tough for me. All the light bulb moments came from watching A. He sort of stumbled into an amazing structure, but I think he also just understood how to do it. I need another crack at this one.

Kristin and Leila had fun playing a physical dexterity game from way back in the 70's: Gnip Gnop. The rubber bands that make the paddles springy had practically disintegrated, but that didn't stop them from having a lot of fun! What have you been playing? #WhatDidYouPlayMondays

Gnip Gnop written above a photo of Leila playing the game of the same name with the game box and the ball throwing game on a wooden table with 5 colorful pawns and two white dice at the bottom left next to What Did You Play Mondays on a blue to purple ombre background with light alternating dice and pawn outlines

Tim & Alex pulled an old copy of Cathedral by Mattel off the shelf at game night recently. They enjoyed the the very satisfying aesthetics of this classic as they strategized in this abstract city-builder. What are your favorite classic tabletop games? #WhatDidYouPlayMondays

Lord of the Rings: Fate of the Fellowship. Matt Leacock‘s take on the epic adventurous journey and the final War of the Rings. It is truly epic, I love how they merged the Pandemic system with Frodo‘s secret journey while all the others folks and races fight to protect the freedom of the middle earth. An intelligent puzzle that lets you dive into the lore and the beautiful story. #WhatDidYouPlayMondays #boardgames
