Twas a month before Christmas, and all through the web, not a creature was stirring, not even a pleb. When all of a sudden, and out of the blue, my blog was deleted, like a silent fuck you. No e-mail, no support, no response, and no word–They took all my work, and left but a turd. And time, that would pass, I sit and I think, “Damn … that sucks ass.”

And all over the net, complaints you can find, of blogs deleted, and reasons confined. On Reddit, on Twitter, on Mastodon, too; I hope Matt Mullenweg has trouble takin’ a poo.

If an alternative you seek, go on, take a peak, Wafrn is here, so don’t shed a tear. For me, for you, for your buddy John, too, come one, come all, sign the frick up, get away from Tumblr, cause they fuckin’ suck.

Anyway, I share it mostly on my Mastodon instance, but I'll share here too:

I've had a Patreon since around 2014? 2012? Something like that. Currently, it has every single musical release I've ever made available for paid members to download (lowest tier is a dollar), and I also post writing, the scripts I make, and it's also a general way to support me in my ventures of self-hosting a Mastodon instance. Tonight my family played a couple of rounds of the card game #WhatTheHeck, aka #VultureCulture.

Each player has a hand of cards numbered 1 to 15 and uses them to bid for the point card of that round, valued -5 to 10. The game is played across 15 rounds. Each round, players place one card face down. The highest card takes positive point cards. The lowest takes negative cards. Ties push to the next high or low bid card. Lots of fun!

While planting some flowers in the back slope of my yard, my wife noticed an edge of a paving stone, buried under dirt, a thick root, and landscape fabric. I unearthed it and it's actually a mf'in iron slab.

Any thoughts on what it is? No markings on either side. One side is slightly inset. The left edge curves in. There are 4 holes in it; 2 are larger on one side (to accommodate nuts for bolts?) It's about 1' x 2' x 1.5" or so. Super heavy.
