This hour's random desktop background on my #MacbookPro is this PR shot of the Terrafugia Transition breaking ground on an early test flight.

Always amazed me how much the company had to tap dance around the endless questions from the audience about how a Transition owner was supposed to get thru an airport gate to take off when not based there. They never had a sufficient answer.

The Transition was marketed as a "Roadable Airplane" however we STILL do not have "flying cars."

@joelanman nb. another way of handling it (apart from that `instanceof` test) is just to use `.then().then()` instead of `.then().catch()`. (Or you could have a separate `try..catch` inside `catch()` lol.)

But that makes the catch construct essentially redundant, and undermines the semantics of what your API considers an error.

Personally I think this is a design flaw.

A friend gave me three souvenir guitar picks from her southern travels. I don’t use guitar picks (thumb pickin’ only, baby), but okay, #whatevs. She took one of the picks back a few days later. Apparently #CatHead is #special. Not gonna lie, it is.

We went to a coffeeshop a few blocks away... They have power, but still no power at my place. The PG&E site shows the outage is effecting more than 500 customers, but no estimate of when it might come back on...and my phone is dying... Go on without me! Haha... #SanFrancisco #Whatevs
