I learned at the recent NATO meeting: Israel used to be famous for using AI to AVOID civilian casualties — now it’s #wheresDaddy (or sometimes, mommy).
This is the problem with dual-use. Different regimes use the same capacities to different ends. Governance & politics are essential to #AIEthics.

There's an error: stopkiller.ai incorrectly says that social credit score AIs are banned under the EU #ArtificialIntelligenceAct . That was the case in early versions; the final version includes lots of loopholes added by the European Council (EU govts).
Social credit score AIs are allowed under the act if they are "for a specific purpose" under national or EU law [1].
This is not new, #tech4palestine founder @paulbiggar wrote on his blog last month about how Israel is killing people based on being in the same Whatsapp group as a suspected militant
