So, figured out that last night was my 50th post-Mikey Panic show and I can't recall a better one. The first set was already damn good and then that second was something next level. The fit with Strings was really perfect, he's got some Jimmy Herring in him on electric. And they put together an amazing setlist to work with.
This is definitely the band that's taking me where I need to be these days...

Listen kids, more later, but in the midst of an all-timer WSP show right now. Billy Strings out for the entirety of the second set to this point and it's glorious...
Panic night one at Chicago Theater was a hoot for sure. Kind of middle-of-the-road setlist and no huge jaw-droppers, but solid from start to finish and that's more than enough to have me smiling the whole night. Dig the venue, very similar to the Beacon. I think tonight will top it. And it better, because I'm going home Friday!
