Le nom Cabaret des Oiseaux viendrait de la forme des feuilles qui se réunissent autour de la tige en formant une cuvette dans laquelle l'eau peut s'accumuler comme on le voit sur la dernière photo issue d'une observation plus tôt dans l'année, fin mai 2022.

A scene at a river. A greenish river covers the central 2/3s of the picture horizontally. In front of the river there‘s a dry beige wild teasel standing out strongly against the greenish water. It‘s growing in the brown soil of the shore. In the background - on the other side of the river - there are a lot of trees some covered with green lichens and moss. And there’s also Ivy growing on one of the trees (centre right). These trees are being reflected in the water. Behind the trees a house can be glimpsed in the distance.

Shortly before sunset on the ridge. We are living in a valley. Days are even shorter for us. Hiking up here, to see the last sun rays of the day, is always a great experience.

This is a photo of a self seeded Wild Teasel. They are at certain areas of my garden. I like them. They attract Goldfinches once fully grown. In the fuzzy background is a more advanced flowering Teasel, showing different colours like blue and brown.
