This is Bonsai and it’s a new work from my current exhibition showing at Cradle Mountain Wilderness Gallery.

I loved this from the moment I shot it. When I got it home and off the camera I struggled to get it right.

There was a moment when I thought I wasn’t going to pull it together to make the work I wanted.

The image that was in my head was fighting to make its way into the world.

But it made it tho. I’m so happy that it did. My heart would have been a little bit sad if I didn’t get it over the line. 💔

Anyway, here it is. Fully realised and on show.
