More than a thousand customers still without power after Monday's windstorm
About 1,300 Newfoundland Power customers in eastern Newfoundland are without power Wednesday morning, two days after a windstorm swept its way through the province. Line supervisor Kiel Williams says work is underway to restore power to those impacted.

I wasn't fast enough to get it on camera but someone's inflatable snowman flew over our backyard & was heading over our next door neighbour's yard.
Emergency sirens are going off & have been steady for over 20 minutes. It's fire & ambulance & police sirens - all 3, at once. Something must have happened, fairly close to our home.
