I caught another #shrew alive! This one climbed up my wool boot, over my sock, and up my pant leg! WTF!?! I jumped up, it ran off, and then immediately came nosing out from under the radiator. Out it goes! That's two today. My spouse thinks this is funny, she's making up rhymes. She laughed that they coming for me. I'm considering laying snap traps...

All winter storm warnings have been downgraded to winter weather advisories through 1 PM. Precipitation has ended, but roads remain hazardous due to significant snow, sleet, and ice accumulation. Temperatures over the snowpack area will struggle to rise above freezing.

Key messages:

2) Very cold tonight with hazardous apparent temperature values as low as 5 below west of I-95 and the single digits east.

4) There is still great uncertainty with the evolution of any low pressure off the southeast coast this coming weekend.
