I had the privilege to photograph the Pointe-au-Père lighthouse by drone. I love the contrast between the softness of the snow and the brilliance of the lighthouse’s beam.

The Pointe-au-Père Lighthouse, located in Rimouski, Quebec, was built in 1909 and stands 33 meters tall, making it the second-highest lighthouse in Canada. It is the third lighthouse built on this site, and seven keepers served there before its automation in 1975.

Because of the weather, I didn't get to hike for a few days. Even though I knew it was going to be muddy and icy, I went for it. The Peavine Mountains were covered with snow, and the matte whiteness brings the mountain forward, and it looked surreal... Tactile perspective in art lesson.
