@krutonium last time I checked it ended up as #SINIX in the Hands of #Siemens-#Nixdorf and may be now in the Hands of #Diebold-Nixdorf or #Fujitsu (which bought Siemens's Computer Division)...

I mean there are media on @internetarchive but AFAICT, #XENIX is a #licensing mess worse than #MELPe!

@krutonium I guesd the reason why they don't #FLOSS #XENIX is the same why they only released #MSDOS 4.0 and not 6.22:

They don't have the rights to do so.

I've seen a poll about operating systems lately and I think that people should learn one or two things before talking (writing).

Let me clarify you 1, 2 or 3 things:

- #Linux is not an operating system it's just a kernel. Maybe you mean GNU/Linux

- #Mac is not an operating system, it's a computer. Maybe you mean Mac OS or Mac OS X

- #Microsoft is not an operating system, it's a corporation. Maybe you mean #DOS, #Windows or even #Xenix

I actually had a copy of XENIX 286 at my old job ages ago.
Was a very nice system for what you got, the printed docs were very good. I wish I could have kept it, but I doubt it was Y2000 compliance.
