Last year, the British Medical Association, the largest doctor’s union in the United Kingdom,
voted to publicly critique the Cass Review. The Yale Law Review released its own critique,
which found that the Cass Review “repeatedly misuses data and violates its own evidentiary
standards by resting many conclusions on speculation,” and that it “subverts widely accepted
processes for development of clinical recommendations and repeats spurious, debunked
claims about transgender identity and gender dysphoria.”

Earlier this year, a consortium of 26 medical and psychotherapeutic professional organizations
from Germany, Switzerland, and Austria released a 400-page report condemning the Cass
Review. The report specifically criticized the Cass Review for recommending psychotherapy as
a treatment for gender dysphoria rather than gender-affirming care, since “none of the studies
included in the review in question were able to show a reduction in gender dysphoria through
psychotherapy.”

If this is accurate this is the first time I’ve seen the Covid positivity rate hit 3% since the beginning. And I’m really bitter about it because I remember the lockdowns were supposed to happen until we got below 5% and it never happened here in New Hampshire anyway.
