The #June #book we’re #Reading for the Reconciliation Book Group (#RBG) is America’s Original Sin by Jim Wallis (interestingly we read his False White Gospel in April).

I’m still in the Introduction of this book, so I don’t yet have much of an opinion on it. I can say that, so far, it’s been an uncomfortable read. I’ve also done a significant amount of highlighting. Part of me is also amused that I am reading it concurrently with Julian of Norwich (short text) and 2 chapters constituting an overview of Paul’s letters (Powell’s Introducing the Nee Testament) This week’s focus for #EfM #YearTwo is writing a spiritual (auto)biography for Paul. The confluence of all these texts is kind of fascinating.
