St Silvester Church in Vauxhall, Liverpool

Octagonal sandstone pillars support six arches on each side, and yellow timber ribs rise overhead. The high altar, added in the early 1900s, is richly decorated with painted figures and gilded detail.

I took these photos in 2017, when the building had lain abandoned for around 6 years. The church has since been converted into apartments.
