@staringatclouds She had resigned. Then secretly manipulated & soldiered up people, using lies. Then rejoined nonprofit only to hijack board meeting on Sunday - knowing my partner was working out of town & unable to attend. All of this toxic & unethical shit isn't how any decent nonprofit society operates. They literally gave control to a lying bully on a vengeful ego power trip; who is trying to punish my companion for enforcing his personal boundaries & refusing to let her keep attacking me out of jealousy. Never trust anyone who lacks humility, lies without blinking & uses manipulation to fool others.

Fucking disgusting person💩🗑
Fucking foolish folks who opted to side with & reward a toxic manipulator 🤮

Beau sent me photos from his daily nature walk on Stz’uminus territory. When we can't be together, we communicate for hours, daily. He takes me on vicarious #NatureWalks & sends me photos along the way as we chat. I am excited to see him again on May 4th. We're spending May 4th-8th together up island. Beau will meet my Mom for the first time on May 4th. We're having dinner here before we head up to #Yellowpoint ❤️

Six-panel collage. Top left: Sunlit beach with dark sand, trees on the left. Top right: Orange canoe with 5 figures on shimmering water; forest backdrop. Middle Left: Calm water and land with mountains in the distance. Middle right: Rocky beach with driftwood and a green forest edge. Bottom left: Shallow water and sand reflecting the sky with distant land with birds. Bottom right: Pebbled beach with downed logs and trees. Blue sky appears in most scenes. Natural light is bright and crisp.

Gorgeous #morning #sunrise in #Yellowpoint on #VancouverIsland. View from rental suite window. It's going to be a beautiful day!
Beau has headed off to work at Wellington high school. I'm having morning tea & going over notes for my new client meeting in a few hours. The soft & cozy #NativeNorthwest #blanket that Beau gifted me is wrapped around - I'm a blanket burrito 😊

Close-up, medium shot of a blanket folded artfully over sofa. Predominant colors are blue, grey, and brown. The soft, diffused lighting emphasizes the fabric's texture and the detailed woven designs. The composition is slightly off-center, drawing attention to the mix of Coast Salish Indigenous patterns on the blanket. The background is blurred, creating shallow depth of field.A tranquil scenic view of a sunrise over calm ocean waters. Houses form the foreground, with rooftops and chimneys visible. The landscape transitions into a calm expanse of water, beyond which are forested islands. The sky is filled with clouds streaked with gold.

Gorgeous early evening in #KulleetBay yesterday.
Seen from the beach at the rez.
#Stzuminus #FirstNation territory stretches over 1,200 hectares which includes four reserves; Say-la-quas 10, Squaw-hay-one 11, Oyster Bay 12, and Chemainus 13.
Stz’uminus First Nation members speak Hul’qumi’num.
The Stzʼuminus are well-known for their war canoes. The vessels can range from 19 to 52 feet long. They are made of cedar and hand carved.

Wide angle shot. A body of ocean water is bisected with horizon. Islands stretch into the distance with low lying clouds. A large rainbow goes from the right shoreline upward through the shot. The foreground is heavy with detailed color and texture going from brown seaweed upward into clearer sky.

Hey #Nanaimo folks. I'll be up your way April 8th-11th. I am meeting & working with a new client who is moving from Nanaimo to Victoria in May. I will have some free time on some afternoons & evenings if Fedi friends want to meet up (DM please & thank you).
I'll be up that way again in May & a few other times this Spring-Fall too, for 2-3 nights each trip, for some cultural reconnection collabs & grassroots, decolonized, community building.

My big sister is visiting. We had a lovely picnic at #RobertsMemorialProvincialPark at #YellowPoint #VancouverIsland on the #SalishSea

The Salish sea off the east coast of Vancouver Island. The rocky beach is marked by the tide. The repeated drops of salt water have created lace like patterns.A close up of the lace like pattern carved into the rock by the salt water tides. In the forground a pattern is carved by the tides into the rock. Behind that, driftwood creates the perfect picnic spot shadedby the rainforest, where my husband and sister chat over our picnic. The path through the rainforst to the beach is light with the bright summer afternoon light.
