Some more animals from at the Columbus Zoo

The first set of photos are from the (Along with a that was chilling nearby) which are found in the Asia Quest section of the Zoo.

Hello furry friends

A single raccoon stands on a rock, facing slightly to the left. It has fluffy, gray-brown fur, a black facial mask, and a ringed tail. Behind it, there’s a large hollow log and more bamboo. The same red plastic device can be seen in the background. The ground is covered in bark chips, and the scene is enclosed by glass, with faint reflections visible. Two raccoons in a zoo-style enclosure. They’re perched on mossy rocks near a hollow log. The raccoon on the left is stepping forward with its front paw extended, while the one behind it is slightly higher on the rock, looking toward the camera. Both have thick, grayish-brown fur with black “masks” around their eyes and ringed tails. The ground is covered in bark chips, and tall bamboo plants fill the background. A red plastic device is visible behind the log.

Yesterday was , so here are some penguins I saw this year!

#1 Humboldt Penguin @ Dublin Zoo

#2 King Penguins @ Zurich Zoo

#3 African Penguins @ Tierpark Berlin

80% of the dead seabirds found have plastic in their stomach. The animals mistake the plastic waste for food.
