@thecrushedviolet "Yogurt & Whey: Recipes of an Iranian Immigrant Life" by Homa Dashtaki is a cookbook rather than an autobiography, but the author shares some of her experiences in her birth country, being an immigrant to the US, and being a yogurt entrepreneur. You might find it interesting. Also, there's a really great spinach boorani recipe in it that I've added to my regular rotation.
In pre-#Zoroastrian times, the people of what is now Iran used a calendar of 360 days divided into 30 months; the #ṚgVeda mentions a calendar with the same strucutre used in the Indus Valley, but doesn't provide any solid details, and the description might just be poetic.
